Insurance

Stowe Family Dentistry is an “out of network” provider for all private dental insurance. We strongly suggest that patients contact their insurance company prior to treatment to make certain their dental insurance assumptions are correct. As you know, most insurance companies pay only a portion of the cost of dental treatment, and some may not cover any services from an out of network provider.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will submit their dental claims for them, along with any pertinent information needed in order to process their claim. All reimbursements from the insurance company will be mailed directly to the patient within a few weeks. It is the patient’s responsibility to follow up with the insurance company if payment is delayed or denied. Please remember to bring your dental insurance information with you for this first appointment (preferably an ID card) so that we can enter the information when you are here.
