Pediatric
Here at Stowe Family Dentistry we love our young patients. We feel strongly that creating a fun comfortable experience, goes a long way in developing a positive outlook towards dental care throughout their lives.
Cosmetic
Tooth bonding is the application of a tooth-colored resin material using dental adhesives and a high intensity curing light. The procedure gets its name because materials are bonded to the tooth. Most often bonding is used for cosmetic purposes to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth.
Diagnostic + Equipment
Periodic oral exams here at Stowe Family Dentistry employ the use of radiographs (X-rays), to help visualize your teeth and bones in ways not possible via the naked eye. Digital X-rays, which deliver even less radiation than traditional film-based X-rays,
First Visits
The first visit for a new adult patient involves a comprehensive oral health evaluation. The emphasis of this appointment is the determination of future dental needs, the creation of a treatment plan when indicated, and an assessment of the patient’s periodontal health.
Oral Surgery
An extraction is done in a single appointment and is generally pretty quick and easy. We will only recommend extraction of a tooth if we feel that no other restorative options would be helpful.
Restorative
Dental fillings is one of the most common procedures done here in our practice. When a tooth becomes decayed it is necessary to restore the tooth to a healthy state before the nerve becomes damaged. Unrestored teeth can lead to sensitivity, pain, endodontic (root canal) treatment, or even tooth loss.
Implant Dentistry
Dental implants are an excellent option for tooth replacement. In addition to restoring function and esthetics, they also have the practical benefit of maintaining bone in the area of the lost tooth, preserving facial structure and appearance.
Sterilization Procedures
We maintain strict sterilization and cross-contamination procedures to conform to rigorous standards in accordance with the ADA (American Dental Association), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) guidelines. Our priority is the safety and protection of our patients and our staff!
At Stowe Family Dentistry we pride ourselves in the delivery of quality care.
